6 volt Farmall's were all positive ground when new. Sometime in the last 61 years, someone apparently changed that one over to negative ground. It's really very simple to changover. Is it still 6 volts, or was it converted to 12? Positive or negative ground doesn't really matter much. Either way will work just fine. If it were me, I would not let that keep me from buying a tractor if it were in good shape. Put the cover on the battery box, nobody will know the difference.
