RWK I had a similar problem with my late fathers H Farmall,it would quit on him and then start back up and run o.k. for several times he may have used it,before it quit again, after he passed away i was using it and it quit, i jumped off and opened the drain on the carburator and no gas run out, I found what we call a dirt dobber's larvae above the sediment bowl,they like to build in the pump hose of fuel tank,in fact my Homelite brush cutter would not start and one had clogged up the hole in the muffler. You might want to check fuel tank and see if some trash is moving around in it. good luck
