I was going to build my own little trailer for pulling behind my JD Model M. I figured up all the parts I would need plus my welding time. I found a nice galvanized steel 4 wheeler trailer, its 4'x 8' with tilt (Rollrite make) for less than my parts total alone. I built wooden stake sides for it for people to ride safe and painted it JD colors. Best of all its licensed for the road so I can use it both ways. Its also pretty easy to wire up a portable battery to power the trailers rear flashers when pulling down our secondary road for safety. I plan on using it to carry my restored JD 140 garden tractor (using the M to pull it) over to our local tractor show for parades.
