I do not have a lot of information on them apart from there being 17,000 built from 1948 to 1958. They were fitted with the ubiquitous Perkins P6 engine, the same one that Ford were fitting into the Fordson E27N around the same time. This was rated at 46 hp.
The Massey was a great contractors tractor and many were used on threshing sets.
The other tractors in the picture, which was taken at the Somerset Show in 2009 are a Fordson Major Diesel and a David Brown 990 (I think).
