Tires I mean. I finally retired the 40+ year old Goodyear tires on one side of the Farm King wagon this weekend. The sidewalls were clean and no breaks but the tread was starting to split. So I took a couple of good used ones from my packer harrow bar and changed them over. 6 and 8 ply tires on a drop centre rim so it was a good workout for me and the tire levers. The wheel was too deep to fasten down on the vintage Coates tire machine. I haven't heard much good about today's Goodyear tires but they knew how to make a tire that would last in the 1970s.
