You cut the steering shaft off and attach the unit to the original shaft, it then extends the shaft up where you reattach the steering wheel.
It is basically an electric torque amplifier.
The advantages, it is a cheap,simple adaptation, makes steering almost effortless.
The disadvantages, bulky, probably not going to be much room for it, depends on the tractor. May require some unsightly surgery.
It is 12 volt only.
The biggest disadvantage though, it works through the existing steering gear, which depending on the model and the condition of the gear, may not tolerate being strong armed by the electric torque amplifier. For occasional use, mowing, parades, it will probably work well, but for loader use, that might be looking for the next weakest link.
