I had a visiting nurse visit for PT and general check-up yesterday following hip replacement surgery. The nurse is a nice girl in her mid twenties, and we had some good discussion. After awhile she surprised me when she asked when I anticipated getting out to work with my tractors. My first thought was "where does that come from?" I had not mentioned tractors and there were none visible. I explained that prior to surgery that it had not bothered me to get up on my Kubota which has a flat deck, so I anticipated getting out to do a few things before long. After some more discussion I asked how she knew that I had tractors, and she responded "from looking around" So I assume that she noticed implements, and perhaps some tracks in the yard. She than admitted to being an old tractor fan and going to the tractor pulls at the nearby agricultural fairs with her family pretty much every year, and how her dad has a Kubota and is always working around his place with it. So I showed her some pics and a video, and perhaps next visit we will get out to the barn and shop to see some first hand.
