gas prices in America

As I was watching CNN last night, I noticed that the topic was one of which is disturbing to me in this time of tragedy....Price Gouging at the pumps. It is amazing to me that some people have no compassion and are simply there to make a buck. Makes you wonder if they are even Americans. I had better stop before I write a book. I am planning a trip from Texas to Wisconsin this weekend (9-14-01) to pick up a sickle mower and I was wondering if any of you red-blooded Americans out there could let me know what the prices are. I will be going thru OK, MO, IL, and WI. I don't feel like spending $5 per gal or more. Thanks in advance and God Bless America. Paul Smith Fort Worth, Tx
