caseih 5120 or JD6200.... MUST have a 'wet' clutch......and reckonmend a powershift of some description for towing, and 4wd (actually most usefull) the JD has a chassis which would help strengthen the tractor under heavy loads ......if ya want older MF390 is a good sold tractor, very simple, lots of tractors out there which will do what ya want.....just a case of how much ya wanna spend the loader lift capacity is my only worry, 3000lb = 1350kg in my calculation....which is two round bales equilvalent weight for us.....our tractors that size will lift that weight but not comfortably (we have broken a front diff before)...what about putting a front forklift (type with a mast) on the front of the tractor.....the weight is closer to the front of the tractor, therefore easier to lift latez pudding
