Read about the Kidde fire extinguisher recall, on this forum. My replacement extinguisher arrived, a few days ago. It is smaller than the one that it's replacing, and the gauge pointer is on the line between full and empty. The old extinguisher is bigger than the box they want me to return it in. Called the recall center, the day it arrived, and was told someone would call me back, in a day or two. Hasn't happened. Called the center, today, and the guy told me he only handles new orders? Gave me the number for customer service. Been on hold for customer service since about ten minutes before I started typing this. still on hold, and I only type with one finger! Anyone else having trouble?
