: I recently purchased a International W-4 tractor. The tractor runs great, and is equipt with a hydraulic pump and plumbing. I would like to know if anyone knows of a three point hitch conversion for my tractor. Most people that I talk to have never heard of a W-4. What type of work was this tractor primarily designed for, and what years did they manufacter this model? Is it rare?
Mark, The W-4 is not rare, they were made from 1940 to 1953. In 53 and 54 a Super W-4 version was made. It was called the standard version of the farmall H, which meant wide front end and lower to the ground. It had the same 152 ci four cylinder engine and four speed trans as the H. Do you know the serial # of your tractor?
