Last GM truck was a 96 with the 6.5. Nice interior and looked sharp, but that was about it. It would lay down and die when you hooked up a trailer or slid the camper in. Terrible brakes, twisted off lugs at every tire rotation, had to turn the heater on full blast when pulling in the summer and come to a hill...bought an 01 Cummins HO and what a difference! Upgraded to a 4x4 Duallie in 04 and has been a great truck. Almost bought a maxipad, but they wanted $10k more for it. Later found out I made the right decision after hearing about their injector issues. Even happier I didn't fall for the Ford 6.0
