Hello to all. I am new to the forum so i hope that this is posted in the correct location. I am restoring a 1954 john deere model 60 and am having some trouble with the clutch. I cannot get the lever to engage with a snap like the manual says it should. It will lightly snap loose when you disengage the clutch but doesnt have very much resistancs. The three castle nuts are screwed in almost all the way which i know is not right. Everything i side the clutch belt pulley is new except the clutch toggles and dogs. Would they cause the clutch not to lock in like it is supposed to and if so what should i look for to tell if they are worn. Looking forward to any advice. Thanks to all.
