Same on a V6 sonoma my girlfriend had. shop in town wanted $650- $750 I seem to remember for fitting and supplying an alternator. I Got a new Bosch for $150 from my trade supplier, and 20 mins including talking to her while I did it, Job done. Never billed her the time but if i billed at my shop rate $20/ half hour. would of done it. She was pretty mad at the small town shop quote!. Can"t remember the crazy hours their computer program said it would take / What those thieving A@#holes would of billed for 20 mins work, like the time it took me. I almost think the shop software tells them the hours to pull half the motor in billing changing an alternator!
