Therefore the poster only needs to mAke up the jake leg patch cord to accomplish his desires. Next owner will have no problems when he comes along with his BIG generator. If the interface to his generator doesn't match the receptacle , which it won't' the new user simply calls you to wire his gen to transfer switch! Easy peasy. P.s. You can what if any problem to death and never accomplish anything.
