I spent about ten minutes running the numbers a month ago, I was losing about $100/hd before I figured in any time or equipment. I used 15% death loss, which will either be high or low. Most times when I lose money on paper there is now way I would try it for real. If corn ever went to $1.80 again I'd be all over it.
