If I had 5 inches my cattle would starve this winter. All the silage corn is still standing on ground that was too wet to plant until June 21-22-23. That much rain and it would be under water until spring. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that we don't get much more. I was hoping to start chopping tomorrow,Tuesday at the latest.
