They get me ticked over the edge sometimes too, just seems to be certain times of the summer, I've posted numerous times about it, the trials and tribulations LOL !
Well I plugged the hole one made to make a backdoor entrance to my upper garden, no trouble since, he does like the tops of pigweed though.
10 minutes ago, the one that has outsmarted my trap every time, who moved in under the porch, was right out in the open, but just eating forage in the lawn, kind of why I never spray or what have you for weeds, as it distracts deer, rabbits and 'chucks, it really works for rabbits they just leave my garden alone, having plenty of food elsewhere. I could sit on the porch and wait, rested up, and snipe this chuck I am sure, but it was another that actually got into the garden, and he's gone, den closed up, never came back, I did not shoot or trap him. I'll eventually trap him somehow, looks better than me sitting on the front porch with a gun ready to shoot, my neighbor will think I'm nuts LOL,. well thats true but......
The other day my friend was at a surprise birthday party, saw a big coyote, thought it was a deer at first, he stalked and killed a woodchuck right in front of everyone.
I hope you git em...... I know how frustrating it can be !!!
