I've often thought that myself. Went to a family reunion in NoDak last week, and drove past a couple dealerships in Minot that had dozens of new combines on the lot. I recall thinking that they represent a whole heap of new oil money that farmers are spending. Guess it makes a kind of sense. I recall seeing the same thing happen back in about 1974 during the Russian grain purchases.
