They've cleaned out two ponds on my place and some of my neighbors. I shot one behind my house that had come back for the small ones. My dog went in after it as I got there and that critter carried my dog under, but she come out after that, then told it what she thought:-). Only animal I've seen with a bone over the eye socket, maybe to protect eye?
While living on the coast, I'd go to Roll Over Pass when flounder season would come around and there was one there that would take your bait out of your live bucket. Took some from the wrong person and no body had a problem after that.
I'll keep up with post and maybe someone will know how to catch them.
