We got that 4.0 back in the Explorer yesterday. Everything but changing the oil filter, putting oil and antifreeze in it,putting the battery back in and the hood on. I got the oil, antifreeze and battery in today, waited til Jon got home to start it. She started right up. Ran a little rough,we had to switch two pulg wires that were crossed. After that,it ran as smooth and quiet as any junk yard engine you'd ever want to hear. We pulled all the covers before we put it in,all the guides, chains and tensioners looked just like new. There was no sludge or deposits anywhere. No wear in anything. The hood's on and everything's all zipped up.
Time for a shower,a cold beer and a Tylanol PM. I'd sure like to get at least one peaceful nights sleep before something else hits the fan tomorrow.
