Actually if you check it out most of the air pollution in the US is from small factories that have both state and federal EPA waivers. Seems that 100's of thousands of jobs would go by by is they tried forcing those factories to shut down or clean up (which at the cost would force them to shut down). Don't take my word for it. Do some research on line. Try to stay away from both extremes, the serious tree huggers and the burn the works type sites. But people see vehicles all over and they are easy to blame.
AS far as the original post, guy in town who is a regional sales guy for farm chemicals got one about 6 months ago. He has a real heavy foot. He has only one complaint......too many tickets! He says it is very easy to speed in. Claims about 21 MPG with the way he drives.
