Sweet, That is the way. Yellow is more flavorful than white. We like to cook them at least an hour but you need to add more water. Some restaurants add cream which is good but it makes it hard to clean the pot. Another thing I like to do is if we have mash potatoes the night before just add water to the pot and cook the grits with the left over potatoes. makes them real smooth and I didn't have to clean the pot.What is Hominy. I like Okra OK. Messed with It all My life Dad always had a big patch of it and it makes me itch. Ron
