I was helping my brother clean up storm damage yesterday, He has the small farm her in nj that we grew up on, He has some animals, and he gets his feed at a large farm ,the farmer sells it to him in bags. This farmer had a lot of damage, and his power wires were ripped out,During the storm men came from all over to help JCP+L get things going, A group of Canadians came ,did a great job putting poles back etc, The farmer thanked them but his final hookup was not done, They said,JCp+L will not allow us to do hookups, but I think they understood his hardship, They winked at him,and said,if this was our farm,we would do ,and then described to him all the steps to hook up safely. If they had not helped him he would have been stuck for a long time. My brothers house, for example.they came, got the power going on the steet, and did not fix the down wires leading to his house, Some one else has to do that, another crew,he is still out of power,Two guys from JCP+L came yesterday, looked at it,said we need a bucket truck to do this, never came back, The bucket truck was there when they fixed the wires on the steet right in front of his house and left him with out power to his house. When my brother went to the farm and it was up and running,he told the farmer to be thankful to that Canadian crew of men!
