Gas or Diesel replacement? I have purchased a 1959 880 diesel. Don't have it home yet. Has been sitting for several years, oil was drained over a year ago and plug left out, ran when parked, always hard to start. I have been searching the internet for information and parts availability. I find lots of used, rebuilt, and new parts for gas engine but not much for diesel. Would rather have gas! if it turns out the diesel needs major work, IS IT POSSIBLE to put a gas engine in this tractor?
