I mow with a 72" Ferris. Just posted about it above. It cut my mowing time in half, and I went from a 12 foot batwing behing a Ford tractor. I am maintaining 20 acres of lawn/tree rows.
Reasons I like my zero turn. 1. You save a lot of time turning, try getting near a tree or a house with a 30 foot long tractor/batwing. 2. Ground speed is fast, as long as you have good blade tip speed. 3. Four wheel independent suspension. On the Ferris at least!
Down side. They only do one thing and one thing only. Mow.
