: : I am rewireing this 78 Ford 3000, and I can not find where the stock location for the coolant temp. sending unit is supposed to be! Any Ideas? I don't have a manual for this tractor, I am just gropping by sight and feel method on this one! Any how thanks for all and any help you may supply! Randy S. : Sender is on left front of cyl. head, tucked under front shell support, to middle & a bit lower than thermostat housing. Swing the battery out, you should be able to feel it, then see it from the right side with the right hood propped up. Thanks a bunch Rick, say what a handy spot that is,hmmm...no wonder I couldn't find it first time around, well ok, second and third time too, thatis why I come to this great form page! Thanks again Rick. Randy S.
