The way I heard it, a fellow from Minnesota bought a cow in North Dakota. It produced a lot of milk, but every time the farmer pulled a teat the cow farted.
The fellow demonstrated it to his neighbor. The neighbor said, "You bought that cow in North Dakota, didn't ya?"
When the fellow asked the neighbor how he knew, the neighbor said, "My wife's from North Dakota".
