Last Saturday I posted a question if I should disk wet ground, recieved a resounding NO. Turns out they did not get much up on the hunting land, so we went ahead and did it anyway- seemed about perfect, just moist enough to keep dust down. Anyhow, here's a couple pics of disking the deer plot. This is likely the first time this field has seen a tractor. My uncle bought the land when he was 15 years old, supposedly it had been abandoned sometime arround 1920. When he bought it, the house in the background was in perfect shape - curtains still hung, windows good, it even had an old phonograph player that worked. Sometime later some hunters found it and shot holes in the roof and nature has taken its toll, but its still a neat piece of history to me. Hope you enjoy, Dan
