Sister bought some land and inherited some, ugh, Alpacas. Now she wants to make some hay on 30 acres and needs some haying equipment. Anyone around Kalamazoo know where we could find a small square baler, would prefer 338, 348 or similar JD as that's all I've ever used before, but doesn't have to be. Also need a swather or haybine, probably a tedder, which we never used out in Kansas, and a wagon. Pretty much everything for small scale haying. We've got a couple of H's, but are considering buying another tractor with independent PTO too.
Any leads would be appreciated. I went up last weekend to look around the local dealers, but didn't have much luck. The one place that had a lot of what we needed was closed on Saturday, the others were just newer JD dealers.
We're definately on a tight budget. And yes, I told her we should just have someone do it for us on shares, but she's a little stubborn and wants to make it herself, with my help of course.
