What kind of "proof" does the NYS DMV need that you're going to use a trailer "predominantly ... in farm production", to get the sales tax exemption?
My "new" 7-ton deckover trailer will be used primarily by Dad for farm stuff, but I want to keep it registered in my name at my permanent (not the farm) address.
Knowing the way the NYS DMV operates, they're not going to take my word for it.
