There was a post on another forum here about this a week ago. this is what I did with my 99 on the first change ,when I got it. I sucked the oil with an electric pump and an adapter i made for it.
Every body and there dog basically said I was a b/sing A@#hole and had no clue what I was talking about. funny thing is my truck starts and runs like new , compared to flattening 2 new batteries starting. All I did was flushed 3 liters of oil through the reservior and heads, with the oil change, it ran better even with the second liter.
Glad someone else agrees with what I did.
