If you buy a 05 or newer be sure it has new plugs in it when you buy it! We bought a 97000 mi 05 Expedition started missing on hard acceleration. 7 of the plugs came apart. Our Ford repair man charges 100 dollars for everyone that twists off. 800 dollars to fix it. Says new plugs are better and he put anti-seize on them. But those motors have 45 more hp than the older ones, and get just as good mileage. Vic
