I'm going to submit that it's all going to depend on your intended use. The headlight might be great for some but if you're working in tight quarters like under the dash of a vehicle, you might find it in the way. I use two of the florescent trouble lights, one on a retractable reel hanging from my garage ceiling and one that's "portable". I also have a rechargable LED stick light with but I'd recommend having two of those so you always have one charged when you need it.
This one is by far my favorite as it's pretty versatile. I can also just plug it in to my portable power pack which is a booster with build in inverter and it hardly draws any current. It also has a receptacle on the other side so I'm not dragging two extension cords around.
