I have a Ruger 10/22 with the Ruger laser. I'm not impressed. Not nearly as precise as my scope. The laser "dot" covers almost 4" at 25 yards. And you still need a light source.
The best system for night shooting is thermal imaging scope. No I don't own one, way too expensive for me. But I got to use one on a night time hog hunting trip.
The next best thing after using white, red and then green led flashlights is the green. It doesn't spook the critters like the white does and gives more than enough light to shoot though a scope.
Red works at illuminating critters eyes but doesn't light up much more.
Green lights up everything and apparently the critters see it a grey. My experience is that so long as your moving slow it doesn't spook them.
