All yoking aside, its a gadget manufactured to be used for the duty its designed for. If you have heard of Entines theory of realtivity it wood seem that it could be related to a plow because they both are made of iron One thing I think is they probably don't make them in America anymore. The patent has most likely ran out several years ago.
