My wife was doing the same thing about two or three years ago.I couldn't understand why she wouldn't put them in her purse. Then she started shuffeling things around and was having trouble trying to figure out what to fix for meals and also just being able to fix one dish of food at a time.We finely found out what the problem was, she was having the first stages of Alzhimers. So go talk to the doctorand tell him whats going on. They have pills that help slow the process down but there is NO cure. Look up demenchia (sp) on here and it will give you a lot of info. I am not saying that is what is wrong with your wife but I wish I had understood what was going on with my wife and then I wouldn't feel like such a --- hole for not being more understanding and helpful to her.
