My daughter and SIL bought a pole barn kit from Menards and also payed extra for blueprints. The kit had the trusses placed at 8 ft centers, so we had to make the rest to go on 4 ft centers. It cost almost as much as a regular kit before they had to buy extra 2X6s. They didnt give enough screws for the roofing and siding, about 1/2 what was needed, by their blueprints. The barn ended up costing a lot more then the others they got quotes on. In Michigan you cant put up a barn with 8 ft center trusses. Thats what the inspector said
