Hi folks. Just wondering if anyone knows what would cause the drive disc (the metal platter) to move backwards toward the rear of the blower. I can"t disengage drive no matter how slack I adjust the wheel drive cable. I see the outer edge of the metal disc is touching the frame and causing some swarf buildup, so something is off. So close to the end of the season, now I got to be breaking out tools in the cold and trying to get this done. Currently have the neighbour"s driveway to do to, as he is off on vacation and I said I"d take care of things while he was away. I knew a Brute/Murray was a cheaper machine, but most winters here I need to use it maybe 4 times a season. I have had it for about 4 years now, and I"m not impressed that something like this would happen with maybe 15hrs of running total. Works quite well when I"m using it though.
