When I built my new shop I was going to put one in-I dug the footing 4 ft. deep where the vert. beam was going to go and cemented 8- 1 in x 3 ft bolts in, but before I got it built my neighbor was using his to pull the motor on his Terex crawler with his and it collapsed-almost killed him. I have no idea if his was a store bought one or if he built it himself-It is obvious he overloaded it. I put a cutoff disc in my grinder and cut the 8 bolts off! Then I bought a 4000 lb. fork lift- One of the best things I put in the shop!
