You have hit the nail on the head. These are modern times and they have advanced the art of case design. Just they use CAD programs where they can make it fit EXACTLY inside the case.
Usually after the cords relax from factory packaging where they can coil round and round instead of back and forth they seem to fit loosly in the case. My porter cable router and bosch router both fit like that in their case. Drills the same way but I have since pitched those.
I agree with the charger cords but those stay on the bench from day one.
