Go over to www,arboristsite.com and ask in the chainsaw section. Pretty good chance you can find the parts you need. You'll also want to check Ebay. On the Mac, do you mean a 1-60 which was a great big monster saw from the late 50's or a 160, a little dinky partly plastic saw from the early 80's-mid 90's? Make sure you specify when you go looking. IIRC the 160 had a long run, there should be lots of parts saws out there.
I will have to differ a bit on the idea that Stihl has parts for everything. That's just not so. What there are is lots and lots of NOS parts and used parts out there. If you hunt around you'll find that's true for most major brands. I've never not been able to get parts for any Husky or Jred, so far at least. It might take some looking, but they are out there.
