Hello JRSutton, Aluminum can be welded with a MIG. If you have run a MIG with steel it may not be hard to learn for you. Cost of equipment is the issue. If it is not a critical area, can you plated instead? Drill a hole at the end of the cracks first. It will prevent further cracking. Guido.
