The best way to light any corn or wood pellet stove is to go buy those cheap fireplace logs you use for those romantic fires in your fireplace and take a screw driver and break off a bunch of chunks and put it in your fire pot. I fill mine about 3/4 full and I light it with my propane torch and then I let it get going real hot then turn on my auger to the slow setting for about 10 minutes then turn it up to your disired setting. Guaranteed to light and stay lit every time. Give it a try and the logs are a heck of alot cheaper than the fire gel. One log lasts me all heating season. Good luck and stay warm. Ray......
