Peel potatoes and grate them as finely as possible. lie down and place the grated potato into the eye socket and allow the eyes to remain closed untill the burning sensation ceases. It may take several hours. Remember when a welding flash occurs allways close your eyes as tightly as possible and wait for all the pretty lights to stop appearing. Repeat this several times. What you are actually doing is constricting (pumping)your eye muscles and forcing fresh blood into the eye blood vessels to start the repair process. I have had many welding flashes over the years and have found both suggestions mentioned above to work for me. I hope you find relief as I did regards Glen PS let me know how you get on
