Most of the silage blowers had a band that could be rotated around so that the discharge could be aimed in any direction. Make sure that the grooves in the band are clean of rust and dirt so the band will fit close to the paddles. The old rule is take a nickel and pass a dime. The paddles are adjustable where they are bolted on the wheel. Adjust them to make up for wear to clear the drum band by about the thickness of a dime. A few thousands of an inch makes a big difference in how the blower works. Ed
