I think the answer is no but want to make sure. Will the distributor from a VG4 work in a VH4. Will the distributor from a VH4 work in a VE4. I had heard the VH is even fire and VE is odd fire so I would think that would make a difference????
In the manual it says a VG magneto will not work on a VP. I put a VG magneto on a crank start VP It started on two cylinders and by moving spark plug wires I was able to get it to hit on all four.
I pulled the heads off a VG4 today because the spark plugs did not want to come out without extreme force. I have those upside down now soaking with liquid wrench.
When I took the heads off I noticed that on a couple of head bolt holes under the exhaust manifold the the top half inch of threads were gone. These bolts came out with ease so that did not happen when I removed the head. Any ideas on how that could have happened?
