Greygoat, from your post below and my own experience Wisconsin is very proud of their parts. There are a couple of parts that I have misplaced for this engine I am going to put back together that I will have to buy from Wisconsin. I need a couple of pistons, the ones in the engine now are Wisconsin. In your opinion should I buy two pistons from NAPA and have a mismatched set in the engine. Or buy the pistons from Wisconsin. I know years ago Wisconsin pistons were grossly expensive. Or would it be more economical to buy four after market pistons?
When you buy parts from NAPA what brand are the bearings and rings and pistons. Gaskets are felpro. I was just in there yesterday and the young fellow who waited on me did not know much, he gave me to a older guy that knew a little.
