Some inner parts on the mag are the same and some are not depending on which mag. Some of the radio shielded mags about only thing would be the same is housing, magnet, & impulse drive. Some use a different front bearing bracket for a roller bearing instead of a bushing and different points too. Most of the radio shielded mags use different condenser like aircraft mags and the cost is about the same as for aircraft mags too. Higher parts cost and whether they are available at all is usually why I convert many mags on those military or generator engines to regular type mags. Inner dist cap is different on some too but I have seen parts at times for the radio shielded mags on ebay or mag parts vendors may have most of them yet.
