I have the opportunity to be an open-station White 2-105 with less than 5M hours at a very good price. The tires are worn completely out and flat on the rear and the fronts are dry cracked. This tractor has been sitting idle under a shelter for 5+ years. I used jumper cables and a wisp of ether and the engine started right up. After engine warm-up, the oil pressure is very good. The cooling system is clean looking but the anti-freeze has a horrible smell (it's more than 5 years old) but no sign of oil in it. Does anyone know of any inherent weakness in the White 2-105 tractor line? What about transmission or rear axle issues?
